Every electrical installation in Belgium must comply with the AREI, the General Regulation on Electrical Installations. An inspection by an accredited inspection body is required, among other things, for a new installation, after significant changes and when a home is sold.
How we help you
- Checking your existing installation and telling you in advance what is not in order
- Replacing missing or outdated components: residual current devices, earthing, distribution board
- Drawing up or updating the single-line and layout diagrams
- Fixing the remarks from a negative inspection report
- Preparing everything for the (re-)inspection
Inspection when selling a home
When a home is sold, an inspection of the electrical installation is mandatory. If the report is negative, the buyer must have the installation brought up to standard and re-inspected within 18 months. Whether you are the seller or the buyer: we make sure the installation becomes compliant.
The inspection itself is carried out by an accredited inspection body; we carry out the work. More information about the obligations is available from the FPS Economy.
